Remdesivir is a nucleoside analogue. It is an RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) inhibitor. It can inhibit the synthesis of viral nucleic acid to resist virus infection. At present, the study of clinical chemical Book bed for Ebola virus infection has reached phase II. Mice infected with mers performed much better after this combination therapy, with reduced virus replication and improved lung function. Recent studies have shown that radcivir has a certain activity in inhibiting new coronavirus.

Remdesivir is a nucleoside analogue, with effective antiviral activity, with EC50s of 74 nM for ARS-CoV and MERS-CoV in HAE cells, and 30 nM for murine hepatitis virus in delayed brain tumor cells.

In Vitro     Remdesivir (GS-5734) is a potent antiviral agent. Remdesivir inhibits murine hepatitis virus (MHV) with an EC50 of 30 nM, and blocks SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV in HAE cells with EC50s of both 74 nM in HAE cells after treatment for 24 h[1].
